How it's made
Trentacoste is a family-run estate in the sun-hammered heart of Primitivo di Manduria — volcanic soils, relentless Puglian light, and generations of people who have never made anything they would be embarrassed to put their name on.
Primitivo thrives in that southern heat. It ripens to a depth and concentration you can taste: black-fruit weight, supple tannins, and the warm, velvety mouthfeel that makes the grape so easy to love. It is genetically the same variety as California's Zinfandel, grown somewhere considerably hotter.
The 2025 vintage delivered ripe, concentrated fruit with tannins that carry real weight without ever throwing their elbows around — bold where it should be bold, smooth where it earns the right to be.
